Hawaii Line Dance Festival 2026 Instructors
No matter where she teaches, Joanne Brady is remembered for her instruction, her humor and her infectious energy! While passing her class, you’ll probably hear, “Yes, Joanne!” coming from the mouths of eager, enthusiastic students; so, it’s no wonder, Joanne has earned herself a star in the dance instructor’s hall of fame! Joanne began teaching 29 years ago, after taking private lessons. She recruited dancers for a weekly TV show “The Country Video Dance Show” in Wilmington, DE and the rest is history!
Joanne has choreographed countless dances and has traveled, extensively, throughout the world. She says her most interesting places to teach have been Singapore, Australia, England, Wales, Scotland, and at the Millennium Dome in England for 27,000 people where 7000 of them were dancers! Even with all her traveling, Joanne still has time to teach 6 dance classes and 2 Senior Exercise Classes a week at home in Delaware.
Joanne is now retired but worked for 16 years teaching moderately to severely handicapped students and worked another 18 years as an administrative secretary in school transportation. When Scooter Lee first met Joanne she told her “You possess a gift which you don’t even know you have”. Prophetic words indeed. If you have had the opportunity and good fortune to meet and learn from Joanne Brady, you know that this is true! Don’t miss taking a class from this comedic dynamo! You’ll be glad you did! You can reach Joanne at: joebrady1@verizon.net, Joanne Cummings Brady on facebook or (302) 239-5914.

Amy’s dance journey began in 2005 when her mom—who had always wanted to learn line dancing but didn’t want to go alone—signed them both up for a class. Just a year later, Amy entered and won her first UCWDC competition, quickly expanding into choreography contests. She earned several amateur choreography titles and was honored with the Dancer’s Choice Award for Team Choreographer in 2013.
Since 2011, Amy has had the privilege of teaching at dance events across the United States and internationally. Her co-choreography “Ain’t Misbehavin’” was awarded both Dance of the Year and Intermediate Dance of the Year at the 2017 Crystal Boot Awards. In 2022, she received another Crystal Boot for Advanced Dance of the Year with “Portland Cha.”
Outside the dance floor, Amy works as a pharmacy district manager for a pharmacy and grocery chain in Arizona. While she values her career in healthcare, dance has become her true passion—one she can’t imagine life without. She loves sharing this joy with dancers around the world. In 2017, dance brought her even more happiness when she married the love of her life, Darren Bailey.
